Source: Sunan Abu Dawud 1551, graded Sahih

Transliteration

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri sam'i, wa min sharri basari, wa min sharri lisani, wa min sharri qalbi, wa min sharri maniyyi

English Translation

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, from the evil of my sight, from the evil of my tongue, from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my desires."

When to Recite This Dua

The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to make this dua regularly, seeking protection from the very faculties that can lead a person to sin. This dua is particularly powerful for anyone struggling with lowering the gaze and controlling desires, as it directly asks Allah to guard the eyes, heart, and desires from evil.
